sacred space has met in various places in cafes and restaurants in Northern Lake County.

Presently we meet at Panera on Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach on Wednesday's from 7 am - about 8:30 am, in which we are currently engaging Scripture through a dialogue on the books Acts.  We also gather on Sunday evenings at Panera Bread from 6 - 8 pm.

On other days of the week, Roland gathers in other places around Lake County, reading, reflecting and engaging people in conversation - and sometimes the conversations explore  life in the way of Jesus begin in serendipitous ways. 

This is not a church (at least not in the usual sense), but rather a conversation in which all who are seeking for a deeper spirituality in their lives are invited to "explore life in the way of Jesus."  There are some beginnings of a community forming out of this conversation -- a community that seeks to live out a different ethic in Lake County -- an ethic in the way of Jesus.
